Al Safeer Group's first trading venture by the name of Wahad Al Buraimi, at Buraimi in Sultanate of Oman was established in 1985. Later on, in 1989 the Group expanded its operations to retail also by opening Al Damas in Buraimi. Pic N Save & Partners LLC, the first venture in Muscat was opened in Alkuwair in 1993. The Group today runs six Hypermarkets/Supermarkets and employs 370 people with more than 50% Oman nationals.

Safeer Mall Sohar, spread over 350,000 sq.ft., offers 75 open fronted shops in a rich Moroccan village setting themed as one of the quaint old souks of Marrakesh. The double leveled mall features a hypermarket (100000 sq. ft.), Jungle Bungle, the family amusement center, a food court with 12 outlets and seating 200 pax, a Billiards room and a Bowling area. Safeer Mall Sohar will welcome customers in early 2008.

International Poly Industries Co. LLC, the Group's manufacturing arm in Oman that produces Sleep Ezze branded bedtime solutions commenced operations in January 2002 in Russayl Industrial Area. IPI employs 125 people including 49 Oman nationals.
